Mrs. Ida Swearengin, 60, of the Dogwood community, died at 10:40 p.m. Monday in St. John's Hospital. She had lived most of her life in the Brown Branch and Seymour communities. Survivors include her husband, O. M.; four sons, Tommy Swearengin, Wichita, Kan., James Swearengin, Sparta, Dwight Swearengin, Seymour, and Dean Swearengin, Ozark; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Fitzgerald, Elkhead, Mrs. Peggy Grimes, Rogersville, Mrs. Joan Workman, Seymour and Miss Janice Sweargenin of the home; four brothers, B.C., Herschel and Walter Yates, all of Ava and Freeland Yates, Ozark; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Snyder, Vacaville,Calif, and Mrs. Alice Swearengin, Rogersville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Pleasant Ridge Bapitist Church with the Rev. Roy Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery under direction of Harris Funeral Chapel of Ozark.
