James R. Dryden,
73, of Indianapolis, passed away October 12, 2021. He was born March 20, 1948 in Loma Linda, California to the late James and Ruth (Cole) Dryden. James served in the U.S. Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. After serving in the Navy, he worked in the maintenance department for Johnson Control. James was also a Mason and enjoyed being a part of that lodge.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel with services there Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
James is survived by his children; Karen Mitchell, Jill Wheeler and Jimmy Dryden; sister, Jeanne Vincent; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled America Veterans, www.dav.org.
