He was born in West Glenville, NY on March 6, 1946 the son of the late George and Dorothy Weaver Bentley.
On August 25, 1990, Bob married Margaret Fagle Bentley. They have shared 21 years united in marriage.
Bob worked for the state of New York as a facilities planner for many years. He was one of the founding fathers of the Professional Employee Federation PEF. While spending time at his other home in Florida, Bob was on the Executive Board of the Lake Region Village as well as very active in many clubs within the Lake Region Community. Bob enjoyed painting, playing golf, woodworking and was a big fan of Disney World.
Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peg" Bentley of Broadalbin, NY and Haines City, FL, a daughter, Andria Bentley Robert Magee of Albany, NY, a step-son, Paul Stone Sheila of West Valley City, UT, a step-daughter Jennifer Savage Daniel of Latham, NY, two grandchildren: Daniel and Kassie Savage as well as a brother, Wayne Bentley.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium, Schenectady. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 West Main Street, Broadalbin.
