Irene R. Snyder, 95 years, 17 days, formerly of Hereford, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, Alexandria VA. She is the wife of the late Warren C. Schlegel and the late Norman J. Snyder. Born in Fullerton on July 17, 1916 to the late Jesse D. and Bessie C. (Rhoads) Pennepacker. Irene lived in Hereford for 48 years until moving to Alexandria, VA to be closer to her daughter. She was a former member of the Pennsburg United Church of Christ, Pennsburg and the Upper Perkiomen Senior Citizens, East Greenville. Survivors: Daughter, Nancy I. and her husband Michael B. Moll of Alexandra, VA; Granddaughter, Beth N. and her husband Michael B. Caudill of Garner, NC; Great-Grandsons, Brandon A. and Matthew B. Caudill. Predeceased by three sisters.
