Daughter of John B. and Mary F. (Mallett) Bell. Sister to John A., Bernard M., Florence E., Cecil M., Gladys S., Mary L., and Hazel L. Bell.

Wife of Milton Roy McDonald, married on Oct 8, 1938 in Abilene, TX. Mother to David R., and Thomas A. McDonald.

She was known as Venice Bell and Venice McDonald throughout her adult life.

She was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church where she sung in the Choir and was the Secretary of the Adult IV Sunday School Department. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Jeff Davis Chapter in Abilene and formerly employed by the Tax Assessor-Collector's office in Abilene. She was also formerly employed in the County Clerk's office in Dickens.

In Crosbyton, she was the Past President of the Harmony Club and also a member of the Garden Club. She was a former member of the PTA where she directed plays. She was a Pink Lady at the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital and formerly worked for the Crosby County Library, also a member of the Open Heart Club. She moved to McAdoo after W.W.II in 1946 and moved to Crosbyton in 1969.
