He was born February 27, 1938 in Atkins, Arkansas to the late Noah Heflin and Bammie Kendrick Heflin. He was of the Assembly of God Faith and he was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruthie Heflin and a son, Troy Heflin.
Survivors include his three sons, Randel Heflin (Cathy), Mike Heflin (Alisa), Elton Heflin and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
