Obituary for Marsha Annette Tullis
February 14, 1947 - May 25, 2022

Marsha Annette Tullis, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on May 25, 2022.

Marsha was born on Feb. 14, 1947, in Vivian, La., to AG Tullis and Virginia (Bowman) Williams. After graduating from David Lipscomb University in 1969, she began her career as a second-grade teacher at Westside Elementary, from which she retired in June of 2000.

Marsha enjoyed traveling across the country, camping, and reading. While she never had children of her own, she was like a mother to her younger siblings, Tammy and Charlie. She considered her grand nephews and nieces as her grandchildren. After her retirement, her true love was spending time spoiling them.

Marsha was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Jackie Tullis.

She is survived by her sister, Sandy (Fred) Nicely, Tammy Osborne, Charlie (Amber) Williams; her nieces, Holly (Mike) Wood and Amy (Robert) Sharp; her great nephews and nieces, Charlie, Tanner, Lauren, Emily, Ridge, Brock and great-great niece, Emery.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Marsha in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 28, at 2 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
