Mary Ella Orum Anderson Pate of Bryan, TX was born November 27, 1927, and passed away May 21, 2022.

She was born in Trawick, TX to Callie and John Orum. She and her first husband, T.P. "Andy" Anderson, moved to Bryan in 1950, where they raised their children Ann and Gerald while running a U-Haul rental and Philips 66 service station. After Andy's death, she married Richard Pate of Bryan, and she worked for several years for the Better Business Bureau.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Siegert and her husband Benny; her son, Gerald Anderson and his wife Sandy; stepson, Thomas Wayne Anderson; by her grandchildren, Kris Siegert Pool and her husband Tom, BJ Siegert, and Chandra Anderson Jackson and her husband Stony; along with her four great-granddaughters, Addison, Taylor, Ashlyn, and Trinity, and her sister Beth Davis of Baytown.

Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel of Bryan on Saturday, May 28th at 10:15 am, with visitation beginning at 9:45 am. Burial will be at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
