MRS. J.J. TERRELL PASSES AWAY
Anna T. Terrell, wife of J.J. Terrell, passed away at her home in this city yesterday afternoon at 3:50 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Funeral services were held today at the Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. F.L. Hudson, after which the remains were laid to rest in the La Plata Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. J.M. McCarty, Mrs. Wm. Cabeen and Mrs. D. Milt Griffin, all of La Plata, John Terrell of Weston, Missouri, and Arthur B. and Jefferson Terrell of the state of Washington; one sister and two brothers, Jeff Magee of Macon and Isaac Magee of Clarence; and Mrs. John Snodgrass of near Macon.
Mrs. Terrell has been in decling health for a number of years and the end was not altogether unexpected.

OBITUARY
Anna Magee Terrell was born in Barren County, Kentucky, Jan. 31, 1842; died at her home in La Plata, Sept. 6, 1916, aged 74 years, 7 months and 6 days.
She moved with her parents to Macon County, Missouri, when a small child and had been a resident of La Plata the last 24 years.
She was married to J.J. Terrell, Sept. 3, 1865. They celebrated their Golden Wedding one year before her death. To this union were born eight children, six of whom survive: Mrs. J.M. McCarty of La Plata, W.J. of Granite Falls, Washington, Mrs. Wm. Cabeen of La Plata, A.B. of Spokane, Washington, Timothy H., who died in infancy, Robert J., who died in young manhood, J.M. of Weston, Missouri, and Mrs. Milt Griffin of La Plata.
Besides the children, she leaves a husband; two brothers, W.J. Magee of Macon, and Isaac Magee of Clarence; one sister, Mrs. John Snodrass of near Macon; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
Mrs. Terrell united with the Presbyterian church at the age of 15 and has lived a consistent Christian life.
