Anne Lomax Pantusa was born May 17, 1947 to Houston and Margaret Sneed Lomax in Texarkana, Arkansas. Anne passed peacefully in her sleep to be with her Lord on May 10, 2018 in her home in Dallas Texas.

Anne's life was a beautiful picture of love for others. She was a wife, step-mother, step-grandmother and step-great grandmother with a devoted love for her family. She loved to travel with her husband, Harold, loved music, reading and playing bridge with her friends. She was vivacious, loving, patient, selfless and godly in her own way.

Anne spent her early years in DeKalb, Texas as the very enthusiastic mascot of her high school band. She and her family later moved to New Boston, Texas where she grew up. Anne's love for music started at an early age when she began playing the Tenor Saxophone in her 5th grade junior band. She became a very accomplished musician as she progressed through high school winning All District and Region Honors her freshman, sophomore and junior years, winning All State Stage Band Honors, from her freshman year through her senior year. Anne was voted Band Captain and also the "wittiest" in her class her senior year.

In college, Anne was a proud member of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.

Anne met Harold in the Fall of 1986 and after a whirlwind courtship they were married in a beautiful chapel on the beach in Makena, Maui, Hawaii on Easter Sunday, April 19, 1987. They had just celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary. During their marriage they lived in Virginia and Connecticut where they explored and made many new friends before returning to Dallas in 1997.

Anne loved traveling, especially cruises of which the Inland Alaskan and Panama Canal were her favorites.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents Houston and Margaret Sneed Lomax and her first husband French Norwood Vicars.

She is survived by Harold, her husband of 31 years; her sister, Patricia Lomax; step-daughter Jackie Nichols; step-daughter Gail Holotik and husband Lonnie; step-son Greg Vicars and wife Lois; step-sons Matthew Wayne Pantusa and Steven Brian Pantusa and numerous cousins, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
