MATHIAS J. MOLITOR, 77, 5304 Xerxes avenue S., treasurer of Sibley county from 1910 to 1935, died at St Mary's hospital.
He was born in Norwood, Minn., attended high school at Arlington, Minn., and became a banker at Green Isle. Mr. Molitor moved to Minneapolis in 1935 from Gaylord.
His son, Joseph, died in 1942 while a Japanese prisoner of war.
Mr. Molitor is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mathilda Spellacy Molitor, a daughter, Mary, of Minneapolis, and a son, Leonard, of Fargo, N.D., and two granddaughters.
