Obituary - Flushing, December 6 - Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock for Mrs. Sarah Bacon Leek, 83 years old, who died Thursday night at the home of her son, George Leek, of 246 Browne Avenue. She is survived by two sons and three daughters. They are Charles Leek of Bayshore; George Leek of Flushing; Mrs. Hughes, of Flushing; Mrs. Fowler, of Bayside; and Mrs. Carpenter, of Elmhurst. She also leaves twenty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Bacon, aged 81, widowed, residing at 346 Bown Ave., Flushing, New York, born December 21, 1838 in the U.S., the daughter of Platt Oakes and Ellen Oakes, died on December 4, 1919 at her home, 346 Bowne Ave Flushing, of Catarrhal pneumonaire bronchitis, and was buried on December 7, 1919 at Zion Cemetery, Douglaston, Queens, New York. Her executor was her son, George Leek.
