Lynn Alan Shaw, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home in Leo, Indiana. He was born January 9, 1939 in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Alex and Golda Shaw.
Lynn graduated from Leo High School in 1957. He grew up in the Shaw Poultry business that his parents owned. The love of chicken continued on through his entire life. In 1971 he moved the family to Coldwater, Michigan, where he owned and operated a Penguin Point restaurant for a number of years. Later in life, he delivered cabinets for Dutch Made Cabinets and retired from there. The love of chicken continued with him through the years grilling chicken on many occasions with his "special sauce". Lynn was "single" for quite a few years until one day in 2009 a pretty neighbor lady by the name of "Patti" moved in next door to him. They quickly became good friends, and married a year later.

Lynn is survived by his daughters, Kristi (Cletus) McFarland of Coldwater, MI, Kimberly Bixby of Grabill, IN; step-children, Brian (Angie) Carnes of Antwerp, OH, Bradley (Mindy) Carnes of Leo, IN, Barbie (Kent) Green of Leo, IN; sister, Judy Shaw of Leo, IN; grandchildren, Derek (Alex), Nathan and Mandi McFarland, Alexa, Connor and Rachel Bixby; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was very loved by all. In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Maria Shaw; brothers, Ronald, Donald, and Larry Shaw.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning at 4:00pm, two hours prior to the service. With a private family ceremony being held, he will be laid to rest at Leo Memorial Park.
