Memorial service for Felix Alan Ballard will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the Chapel of White Oaks, 6324 Masonic Drive, Alexandria, Louisiana with Pastor Albert Diaz officiating.

Military rites will be conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard.

Committal service will follow in the Butter Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Visitation will be held in the Chapel of White Oaks – Alexandria, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m.

Felix, 64, of San Pedro, California, entered eternal rest on March 25, 2022, in the Philippines. He was born October 19, 1957, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the union of Opal Elizabeth and Felix Leroy Ballard.

Felix has proudly served his country in the Navy from the time he was 18 years old until his retirement in 1995. He then contracted with the Navy until is complete retirement in 2005. Felix lived the remainder of his years in the Philippines on his farm. He loved his family, country music, and ice-cold Budweiser and his Marlboros. A man of the words but a genuine heart for people.

His parents, Opal Elizabeth & Felix Leroy Ballard and Shelby L. Johnson & Pearl Johnson; his siblings, Denise Cheatham, Debra Romero, and Peggy Ballard, proceeds him in death.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 41 years, Myrna Ballard of San Pedro, California; five children, Vlady Rose Cabico, Neal Ballard, Elizabeth Diaz (Albert Diaz), Christine Ballard, and Carol Ballard; six grandchildren, PeeJay Cabico, Ysabelle Cabico, Neal Ballard Jr., Harper Diaz, Nola MayLynn Ballard, and Alice Ballard; five siblings, Michael Ballard, Jamie Ballard, Ronda Korosi, Brenda Gautney, and Timothy Ballard; along with a host of family and friends.
