Obituary for Larry and Barbara Addison.....
Mr. Larry Palk Addison, age 81 passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022 and his wife, Barbara Ann Nipula Addison age 79 of Hartwell passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022 following a period of declining health.
Larry was born on May 14, 1941 in Hartwell, Ga., to the late Claude Buford Addison and Lois Byrum Addison. He retired from True-Temper, was a Mason and a member of a Harley-Davidson Club, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Barbara was born on September 29, 1942 in Providence, R.I., to the late John E. Nipula and Ruth Redmond Nipula. She retired from Georgia Department of Corrections (Whitworth Detention Center) as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Left to cherish their memories are; children, Kenneth Addison, John Addison, Mariann Gray and Anya Minervino, all of Hartwell, Ga. Twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren survive.
They are preceded in death by their parents, son, Eric Addison, Larry's brother, Billy Addison and Barbara's brother, John Nipula.
Celebration of life services for Larry and Barbara Addison will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Three o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Mr. Thomas Jordan officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday 2-3 p.m. just prior to the service at the funeral home. They will be laid to rest in a private service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Chris and Anya Minervino, Savannah Street in Hartwell.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
