Rebecca M. Day died at her home in Cainsville Nov 30th and the body was brought to this place and taken to the home of her son, Frank Heriford, where the funeral was held Tuesday of last week, conducted by Rev. James E Todd after which the interment took place in the Pine Cemetery South of town.
Rebecca Randall was born in Ohio May 12, 1836. In about 1852 she was married to Isaac Heriford and four children were born to this union, 3 of whom, W. J. Heriford of Ozark County, F. M. Heriford of Princeton, and Ed Heriford of Cainsville, are still living. The husband was killed in one of the battles of the Civil War.
She was again married to Leroy Day who also preceded her to the Great Beyond. When young she united with the Baptist Church and has always lived a consecrateous and consistent Christian Life.
