Mrs. Hazel Jones, 63, wife of Jesse Jones, residing at 555 S. Locust, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Porter Memorial hospital, after an illness of nine weeks.
The decedent was born near Boone Grove, Porter township, Porter county, March 23, 1898, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Arnold. Most of her life was spent in Valparaiso.
Surviving besides the husband are three brothers, William Arnold, Valparaiso; Roger Arnold, Kansas City, Mo., and Charles Arnold, Abilene, Tex.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the LePell funeral home, 53 Monroe, with the Rev. Henry V. Deale, of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Adams cemetery, in Morgan township.
Friends may call at the LePell funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight and up until time of services Tuesday.
