YAKIMA - Jane Virginia Perrault, 88, of Yakima, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Arbor House. Jane was born October 18, 1921 in Moxee, WA. to Walter J. and Mary (Lizotte) La Coursiere. She attended Holy Rosary School in Moxee. On April 6, 1942, she married Leslie Joseph Perrault in Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Les & Jane owned Les & Jane's Cafe for many years, retiring in 1965 when it was sold. Jane was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Ladies of St. Ann, where she was active in the funeral luncheon committee for several years. Jane especially loved her family and cooking for them. She was the happiest when everyone was around her table. She enjoyed her Sunday drives and picnics with Les. She also enjoyed working in her yard.
Survivors include her 3 children; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-greatgrandson; also a brother; numerous nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, and 3 sisters-in-law.(edited to remove the names of possible living relatives)
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leslie Perrault in April 1994; a brother, Lester LaCoursiere and a sister, Ruth Cyr.
Vigil services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Moxee. The Memorial Mass is Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
