Sammy passed away at his home in Algodones, NM on May 8, 2022 with his wife, Lolly of 63 years by his side.
Sammy is survived by his daughters, Antoinette Guillen, Debbie Valdéz, Barbara (Robert) Baca and Loretta Archibeque, grandchildren, Brandon Guillen, Brenda Gutiérrez, Anthony Gutiérrez, Angelica Torres and his wife, Sara, Robert Baca Jr., Krystal and Ashley Baros, great-grandchildren, Eric, Jayla and Itzel, brothers, Jimmy (Marie) Archibeque and Iggy (Cecilia) Archibeque, sister, Patsy Archibeque and several nieces and nephews.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Celia (Amy) Archibeque, daughter, Diane, sister, Annabelle, brother, Billy, and in-laws, Juan Pablo and Grace Montoya.
Sammy was a truck driver for over 45 years and a member of the Teamster Union. Sammy also worked for Daniel's Funeral Services and was an official for the Fiestas of San Lorenzo.
Sammy loved telling stories of his past for hours and hours and if you waited long enough you would hear a different version of the same story.
Sammy will be missed by his family and friends.
Rosary and Mass will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd., Rio Rancho. Reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Private Burial will be held at a later date.
