Lynell (Bennett) Gallier

Lynell Gallier, age 79 of Orangefield, Texas, with her loved ones by her side passed on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home.

Services to honor Lynell's life will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home with Sister Ruth Burch officiating.

Burial will follow at 3pm at Colmesneil Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 10~11am on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Lynell was born on July 7, 1942 to parents, Mildred Nugent Bennett and Raymond Bennett.

She was the only daughter out of three children born into this loving home. Lynell always believed that family came first and loved to have her house full of her loved ones. She had been a longtime member of Harvest Chapel Church in Orange. Lynell worked for many years as a ward clerk and monitor tech for Baptist Hospital in Orange. She believed in a clean house and took great pride with her cleaning. Lynell also loved boutique online shopping.

Lynell will be greatly missed by all those who were touched with her love and sense of family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bennie A. Gallier, her parents, Raymond and Mildred Bennett and brother Ronnie Bennett.

Those left to cherish her memory are children, Bennie Len Gallier of Orangefield, Texas, Eric Gallier and his wife Meshell of Orange, Texas and Lori Campbell and her husband Don of Orangefield, her brother Lanny Bennett and his wife Donna of Nederland, Texas, six grandchildren, Jason Bertrand, Dustie Gallier, Carley Gallier, Cameron Gallier, Courtney Griffin and Colby Hryhorchuk, three great grandchildren, Trinity McClean, Sophia McClean and Ella Griffin, numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Pallbearers to honor Lynell will be Cameron Gallier, Colby Hryhorchuk, Chad Bennett, Kevin Bennett, Jared Prejean and Michael Slaughter.
