Robert Stephen "Steve" McEntire November 01, 1938 - May 08, 2022
Robert Stephen "Steve" McEntire, 83, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, May 8, 2022. He was born November 1, 1938, in Wardville, Oklahoma to Bob and Nellie McEntire.

He was an Army veteran and retiree from International Paper Company as a forester. He was also past President of the Arkansas Forestry Association and an avid gardener. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, traveling, and camping and was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by brother, Jim McEntire; sister-in-law, Libby McEntire; and parents before mentioned.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Steve is survived by his wife of 56 years, Vicki McEntire of the home; son, Jeff McEntire (Cycilia Thomas) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brother, John McEntire of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Mike Baumert of Coalgate, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Karen Marks of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and Cleo McEntire of Wardville, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mike and Barbara Metcalf.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
