Stacy Ann Zoucha, daughter of James "Pat" Patrick and Nancy Ellen (Hanson) Kelley, was born on April 28, 1966 in Prosser, WA. Growing up, Stacy's father was in the military, so the family lived in various places until settling in the Columbus, NE area. Stacy graduated from Lakeview High School in 1984. She continued her education at Central Community College where she was active as a member of Chorale.
On October 17, 1986, Stacy was united in marriage to Nick Zoucha. The couple made their home in Summerville, SC where she worked at the Coastal Center. Stacy also worked at Spectrum Auto Glass until her health forced her to retire.
Stacy was a devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She was always smiling and caring for other people. Stacy was the one who always fixed Christmas dinner, with everyone in the family helping. She had a love for travel and visited most of the states as well as several countries overseas. When her and her sister Bridgett got together, they loved to listen to records. Music was important to her as she sang in groups in high school and college. Stacy was an active member of Summit Church in Summerville and sang in the church choir, sometimes even doing solos.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father: James "Pat" Patrick Kelley; and uncle: Jay Hanson.
A Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022 at St. Patrick Joseph Cemetery, rural Platte Center, NE, with Chaplain Shelley Noonan officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Platte Center Fire Hall.
