HEALDTON -- Services for Burrell Moore, 94, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Fox officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
Moore was born May 6, 1905, at Shawnee, Indian Territory, to William and Viola Moore. He died March 14, 2000, in the local hospital.
He moved to Healdton at age 12 and worked in his father's mercantile store before he became an oil field driller for Delta Drilling and Loughlin Brothers.
He and Bonnie Lena Jones were married Dec. 26, 1927, at Countyline. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nov. 3, 1995; and a brother, Poston.
Survivors include a son, Ray, Meridian, Idaho; a sister, Vida Fletcher, Odessa, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Frank Owing, Joe Moore, Ray Barnes, Kenneth Allison, Harold and Terry Rozzell.
