Funeral services for John W Bridges 83 of 1124 Stainback Avenue will be conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Roesch Funeral Home by the Rev L. S. Ewton

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Bridges who died this morning In Birmingham, Ala. was a construction worker for many years in Nashville and took part in building bridges over the Cumberland.

He was visiting his daughter, Mrs Mable C Cole at the time of his death end had also been visiting a son Alvin Bridges in Birmingham...

Mr. Bridges' wife Mrs. Betty Budges died three years ago.

He was born In Alexandria, Tenn and came here when he was 19..

Other survivors are two daughters in Nashville Mrs. William R Moneypenny -and Mrs. Mattie Beard another daughter Mrs. Willie May Turner , Miami Fla and a son Harry Bridges of Washington, D C.
