J.W. Chenoweth
J.W. Chenoweth, 91, early settler of Sumner county and a veteran of the Civil War, died Sunday morning, February 5, at the Soldier's National home in Los Angeles, Calif. He had been living in Los Angeles for the past six years.
Surviving him are a brother, J.V. Chenoweth of Wellington; a son, Frank Chenoweth of Udall; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Funk of Los Angeles.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Congregational church at Udall. Interment was in the Udall cemetery.
