Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. April 7, 2009, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Revs. John Carlisto and Paul Head officiating. The committal service will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
She was a 1951 graduate of Beaufort High School and was employed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point where she retired as a budget officer after 33 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and served on the Altar Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas M. "Bull" Bullock; daughter, Sandra B. Wheatly of Beaufort; son, Tommy Bullock Jr. of Beaufort; sister, Fay B. Bullock of Beaufort; brother, John R. Basden of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
