While at the top of the application on the right side written in red pencil is "N. Carolina and CSA" or North Carolina and Confederate States of America. It also listed burial in Home Cemetery.

According to SWH1115, Member # 50207568, a family member, Family Bible Records have him buried in Saunders Cemetery in Lloyd's Crossroads in Harrellsville, Hertford County, North Carolina. There is no visible stone and could possibly be buried.
