He was a retired Director of Purchasing for BASF Industries, a 1976 University of Louisville graduate, a member of the Jeffersontown Senior Center, where he enjoyed playing cards, an avid golfer, an accomplished painter, and held his Private Pilot License.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert G. and Mary Louise (Wilson) Nicheols; brother, Paul Nicheols; and sisters, Jeanie Lawson and Lois Lopp.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sue (McClure) Nicheols; daughter, Stephanie Boehm (Steve); sons, Chris (Katie) and Paul Nicheols; grandchildren, Spencer, Matthew, and Courtney Boehm, Jack and Samuel Nicheols; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be 12:00 to 4:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2022, at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. East Louisville. Funeral Services will be at 4:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2022, at Ratterman Brothers.
