Countyline - VIOLA LEE BUTLER LAWSON, 98, of Countyline, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, in Duncan Regional Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Choate officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery.
Viola was born Feb. 7, 1909, in Fox, to Allie B. and Oma Wilson Butler. She married Albert M. "Abb" Lawson on June 18, 1925, in Fox. He preceded her in death May 2, 1986.
She was a homemaker and a member of Countyline Baptist Church.
Survivors include a grandson, Jack Bennett; three great-grandchildren, Nicole Jacobson of Kansas City, Mo., Matthew Bennett of Norman, and Jennifer Bennett of Las Vegas, Nev.; four great-great-grandchildren, Ryan Jacobson, Eryn Bennett, Cadee Haniuk and Juston Haniuk; and many other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, LyVonne L. "Pat" Bennett; a brother, Bill Clemard Butler; a sister, Ruth Bennett; and a grandson, Max Bennett.
