He retired as a receiving clerk from General Motors Leeds Plant after 30 years of employment. He married Joyce E. Taylor on March 31, 2012, in Independence, MO. He was a member of Crown Point Church since 1967. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and Christian Television. He went to lunch every day at one of his favorite restaurants, which included, Bob Evans, McDonald's, and Perkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Jewel in 2000, and his sister: Leola A. Mussig.
