Charles Sain, 70, of Amarillo died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Bradley Galambos, pastor of Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of San Jacinto Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mr. Sain was born in Cunningham. He lived in Amarillo for 16 years. He worked as a truck driver for 40 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rose; two daughters, Carolyn Asher of San Antonio and Brandy Michele Phillips of Fort Smith, Ark.; three sons, Paul Allen Sain of New Mexico, Kirk Donovan Sain of Dallas and Thurman Wesley Sain II of Amarillo; two sisters, Ann Mulanax and Betty Rose, both of Amarillo; a brother, Donald Ray Sain of Amarillo; and seven grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Olivia's Angels, in care of BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
