Graveside service for Verna Cordova Parrish, 86, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the Swift Cemetery in Nacogdoches. Parrish died Saturday, March 11, 2006, in Nacogdoches. She was the daughter of Austin and Emily Whitton Cordova and a member of the Swift Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Parrish. Survivors include sons, Joe Parrish of Nacogdoches, Aaron Parrish of Houston and Eddie Parrish of Magnolia; daughters, Shirley Cox and Gwen Stephens, both of Nacogdoches; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and two grea-great-grandchildren.
