Rinaldo Edmund "Happy" KANE was born in Indiana to Edmund Jacques KANE and Cecil Abbie PULVER. He was residing in Indianapolis with his family in 1910. By 1930 he was working as a cable car driver in San Francisco, a job he held for many years. He moved to Miami in 1940 and enlisted in the army at Camp Blanding on 22 Sep 1942. He married Edna May FAIRHURST in 1944. He was a taxi cab driver until his death at age 60. He had been a member of the American Legion Post Number 85 of Miami Beach.
