George L. M. Bargmann died of consumption at the Eckel home at Springfield. For five years he was the head baker at the Agnews State Hospital, but a year ago, he gave up the position on account of an illness which developed into consumption. He spent his last few weeks in Tuolumne County where he hoped that a change in climate would restore his health.

Mr. Bargmann leaves his wife of five years, Lena. He was also survived by a brother, a sister, and his father.

As a child, Mr. Bargmann lived on Oak Street in Stockton with his parents, two brothers, and a sister. He was the youngest of the family. His parents were both born in Germany, and his father was a tailor.
