Sandy graduated from Abilene High School in 1960. She was the General Manager of Village Leasing in Abilene from March 1973 until she married Jerry Kilgore in December 1984. After moving to Austin, Sandy became a real estate agent and discovered her passion for apartment leasing.
Sandy was an active member in her church, Bethany UMC, where she participated in the Stephen Ministry and the United Methodist Women - Hope Circle. She also enjoyed volunteering in the church front office for many years.
She was part of the Family Eldercare program and a proud member of the Daughters of The American Revolution.
Sandy loved entertaining and spending time with family. Lovingly known as "Momo" by her grandchildren, the "Momo Parties" were always great fun for all. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Sandy was preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother, Charles Hubbard; and her husband, Jerry Kilgore.
She is survived by her two daughters Laurie Hambelton and Kristy Redmon; grandchildren, Philip Brent Redmon, Anthony Jackson, and Alexander Johansen; great grandchild, River Redmon; brother, Carl Hubbard; and sister, Kathy Bright.
There will be a visitation with funeral service following at Bethany United Methodist Church, 10010 Anderson Mill Rd, Austin, Texas 78750 with the time and date to still be determined.
