Edna Mae Blackburn, 80, formerly of Amarillo, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, in Pampa.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in South Georgia Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Lowell W. Schmidt, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Mrs. Blackburn was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Foster, Okla. She worked at Maywood for 28 years.

Special thanks to Joy Combs and Bill King, David Kemp, Shirley Howath and Ruthann.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Blackburn; her father, Ernest T. Bowman, and mother, Myrtle L. Bowman; three brothers, Bill Bowman, Dave Bowman and John Bowman; and a great-grandson, Adam Ross.

Survivors include a daughter, Rose Wright of Pampa; two sisters, Bonnie Young of Lefors and Mary Boortz of Granbury; grandchildren, Ron and Clara Howard, Howard and Mindy Sullivan, Ron and Renea Hice, Lee and Carisa Sullivan, Julie Howard and Tad and Shawna Blackburn; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and relatives.

The family suggests memorials be to Hospice of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.
