Anthony John DeFranzo, Sr.,104, of Windsor, beloved husband for 64 years of the late Irma (Cavalotti) DeFranzo, passed away peacefully in a loving circle of family on Monday, April 25, 2022. He was born in Newington on January 20,1918, son of the late Michael and Christine DeFranzo. Anthony was a Mechanic/Service Manager, retiring from the Ford Motor Company after decades of service. In semi-retirement, he worked at Dobbs/Gate Gourmet until the age of 92. A decorated veteran, Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Army in WWII.
His family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 4-6 p.m., at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, and on Monday, May 2, at 12 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 12:30 p.m. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Mt.
