"Lewis Duwayne Gilmore, 11-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Gilmore, 430 Fifth street, Rock Island, died at 2:45 o'clock this morning at St. Anthony's hospital after an illness of several days.
An autopsy was performed on the child this morning, but the report was not available. The baby entered the hospital at 7:20 o'clock last night.
Born Aug.17, 1952, in Rock Island, the child is survived by the parents and six stepbrothers and stepsisters, Harold, Freddie, Connie, Marliss, Marilyn and Ronald, all at home.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 o'clock Wedneday[sic] afternoon at the Wheelan funeral home with the Rev. Arthur T. Clark, pastor of South Park Presbyterian church, officiating.
Burial will be in Chippiannock cemetery. Friends may call after 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at the funeral home."
