He worked as a junior helper in a sugarbeet factory in Krasilov that was managed by a brother.
Ralph immigrated through Ellis Island on Dec. 9, 1921. He lived in the Bronx, New York for many years.
He married Yetta Strum in the Bronx. They had a son.
By 1954, Ralph had moved to Easton, Northampton Co., Pennsylvania to work as a shipping foreman at his brother Nathan's Kasover Pants Factory. He retired in 1970.
He enjoyed the horse races. His brothers laughingly said that he was always in a hurry.
He passed away at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, across the Delaware River from Easton. His funeral was held on Sep. 8, 1972 from the Katinis Funeral Chapel, Easton.
Many thanks to Aparysha, who so graciously found and photographed Ralph's gravestone, and to New York Historian, who so kindly sponsored this memorial.
