William Ralph Browning, 83, of Chesapeake, VA passed away on February 20, 2021. He was born at his home in Plymouth, NC on June 4, 1937 to the late Ralph and Audrey Browning. Bill lived in Plymouth for 18 years, where he played football in high school and was involved in the Sea Scouts. He joined the Navy right out of high school and learned to work on all types of engines. He was stationed at various Naval installations including Great Lakes, Chicago and Norfolk, VA. Bill loved fishing with his kids and hanging out with his friends playing cards. He enjoyed reading about the country's history and traveling to historical monuments.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce; wife, Sue Browning; and two sons, William L. Browning and Kevin Browning.
