Lyle Campbell (Cam) Tabb, III, 75 of Leetown, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility, Kearneysville from complications of a stroke.

He was the eldest son of the late Virginia and Lyle C. Tabb, II.

Cam is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane; his children, Lyle C. Tabb, IV (Kiya) of Key West, Florida, Amy L. Tabb (Dave) of Charles Town, Stephanie Julazadeh (Mike) of North Charleston, S.C. and Ross A. Tabb (Jen) of Leetown; and nine grandchildren, Lyle C. Tabb, V, Ardan Tabb, Jesse Wright, Alexandra Wright, Sophia Julazadeh, Tyler Julazadeh, Samantha Albert, Cole Albert and Reid Tabb; surviving siblings, Walter C. Tabb, Coram, Montana, Robert Tabb, Leetown, WV, Virginia Tabb, Kearneysville, WV, David Tabb, Halltown, WV, and Howard Tabb, of Leetown, WV.

He was a graduate of Charles Town High School, class of 1965 and Nashville Auto Diesel College.

Cam was a lifelong farmer on the family farm "Vinemont" in Leetown, operating as Lyle C. Tabb & Sons, Inc.

He also served nine years as an aircraft mechanic in the West Virginia Air National Guard 167th Airlift Wing.

A strong commitment to community and his fellow man is reflected in his civic & volunteer engagement; County and State Boards of the Farm Service Agency, Jefferson County Planning Commission, Prostate Cancer Survivor, Counselor, Jefferson County Fair Association and Clarke County Young Farmers. His purpose in life was to help people, both friends and strangers, and animals of all kind.

A funeral to be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Charles Town Presbyterian Church, 220 E. Washington St., Charles Town with Rev. John Bethard, Dr. Henry Christie and Pastor Nancy Tabb officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ranson Civic Center, 432 West Second Ave., Ranson, WV 25438 following the funeral.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.

Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson.

The family asks that face masks be worn at the funeral and celebration of life.
