Albert M. Cordrey, 73, died unexpectedly June 20 at Wadsworth- Rittman Hospital.

Mr. Cordrey was born in Lorain, and resided in Wadsworth for 50 years. He was owner-operator of B & L Freight Co. for over 20 years, retiring in 1969. He was also employed at Higy's Drive-Thru in Rittman, and was currently employed at Freed Ford in Wadsworth. He was a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church and the Retired Teamsters Club, a Special Deputy under Sheriff Campbell, former Deputy Sheriff of Western Star, first male president of Franklin School P.T.A., and Precinct Committeeman in Ward 1A.

He is survived by wife, Darlene M.; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ray Kramer of Wadsworth; granddaughters, Cheri and Wendy Kramer of Wadsworth; sister, Mary of Florida. He was preceded in death by grandchildren, Dusty and Lynn.

The family will receive friends at Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, TODAY, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., Rev. Oden A.
