Mr. Jerry Lee Bright, age 64, of Glenwood passed away on Monday afternoon, April 25, 2022 at his home.

Born in Soperton, he was the youngest of five children born to the late Ealy William Bright and Hazel Pearl White Bright.  Mr. Bright grew up in Glenwood and was a graduate of Wheeler County High School.  Mr. Bright had worked as a Welder, Painter and Supervisor at Farm Master (Bailing) in Dublin for over twenty seven years before the company moved to Uvalda where he continued to work until retiring in the early 2000s.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and in his younger years enjoyed lifting weights.  He was accomplished at drawing.  Many of his pictures have been retained by his family as keepsakes and memories.

He had attended Snowhill Community Church in Wheeler County.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Josephine "Josie" Bright Lawson and a niece, Rhonda Lawson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2022 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, Georgia with Pastor W.R. Connell officiating.

Mr. Bright will be laid to rest in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Glenwood, GA.

His family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
