Warren's grandparents were French-Canadians who migrated to the United States from Canada after the Civil War. Born to a poor family during the Great Depression, Warren personified the American Dream. He was a great American patriot who loved his country and was honored to serve her. Shortly before high school graduation, he joined the National Guard and soon after enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in Korea as an artillery Captain. While in Vietnam, he was promoted to a Major in field artillery. In 1974 he was separated from active duty at which time he and his family moved to Virginia Beach. It is here he worked for the Navy as a civil servant. After many years of service he retired as a computer system analyst.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, 1st wife and mother of his 4 children, Joan E. Roy; 2nd wife, Jane A. Chavis; 2 brothers, Aime and Leo; and 1 sister, Jeanette Peabody. He is survived by his sister, Pauline Langlois; 2 sons, Mark (Connie) Boisselle and Guy (Carol) Boisselle; and 2 daughters, Elaine Temple and Renee (Reuben) Yoshikawa. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Warren's funeral will be held this Fall at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
