Terecy, youngest child and daughter of Rebecca Barnett and Rev Zachariah Allen, along with her siblings, inherited the Allen Homeplace from their parents. Widowed Terecy and her three unmarried older sisters, Polly, Sally and Nancy, lived there for the rest of their lives. Terecy's descendants, the Thomasons/Thomersons, inherited the Old Allen Homeplace and lived there for generations.
