Daughter of Paul and Donie Rumsey Smith. She was of the Baptist Faith, and as a young lady she sang in a gospel trio, The Sunshine Trio. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Ann Shedd; and brother, Ernest Alfred Smith. Survivors include her children, Dennis and Lynn Shedd of Dillard, Tammie and Mark Rudeseal of Lawrenceville, and David Glenn Stewart of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Jamie (Reesa) Shedd, Kelly Byron, Autumn (Josh) Chatham - all of Dahlonega, and Whitney (Devon) Peet of Peachtree Corners; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lanette Smith of Sautee; and several great-grandchildren.
