Marriage records found at Family Search & Ancestry shows Vern married Minnie Sawyer June 16, 1920 at Cadillac, MI. List her parents as Delbert Sawyer & Mary (Greenwalt) Sawyer. Yet in Minnie's obit it shows her maiden name as Beebe which would make her parents, Ira & Flora Beebe. Some of the children list their mother's maiden name as Sawyer??
