Agnes A. Antonetti, 84, of Cumberland died Tuesday, December 2, 2008. She was born January 30, 1924 in Bayfield, WI to Theodore and Frieda (Hardt) Hahn. Agnes was raised in the Shell Lake area and graduated from Shell Lake High School in 1942. After graduation, she worked in war plants making links for tanks. She moved to Milwaukee and worked at Eagle Knitting. She was married in Waukegan, IL on October 16, 1946 to John J. Antonetti who preceded her in death on June 2, 1995. They lived in Milwaukee and Kansas before moving to Cumberland in 1961. They owned and operated the Hillcrest Cafe and Cup Cafe in Cumberland. Agnes worked as a clerk at the Cumberland Post Office for over 20 years.
She is survived by 4 sons, Marc Antonetti of Bloomington, IN, Peter (Vicky) Antonetti of Cumberland, David Antonetti of Barronett and John (Donna) Antonetti of Somers, WI; 1 daughter, Sharon (Bob) Woller of Salem, WI; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 5, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cumberland, WI with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be in LakeSide Cemetery, Barronett, WI. Pallbearers are Greg Settle, Bradley Settle, Greg Nettleton, Adam Antonetti, Taylor Pazder and Brandon Bickle. Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Skinner Funeral Home, Cumberland and one hour prior to service on Friday at the church.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland.
