Janet M. Clements-Randle, 87, of LaPlace, La., formerly of Robinson, died peacefully Sunday evening, November 30, 2014, surrounded by her daughters.

She was born April 24, 1927, to Martin and Minnie Simons Phillippe. She devoted her whole life to caring for and loving her entire family. She was a wonderful cook and loved planning and hosting family gatherings.

Mrs. Clements-Randle is survived by three daughters, Jana (Bill) Connelly of Findlay, Ohio, Becky Parker and Gail (Dick) Beckemeyer, both of LaPlace; three step-sons, Joseph Patrick Randle IV of Palestine, Greg (Janelle) Randle of St. Cloud, Minn., and Terry (Jan) Randle of Chatham; a daughter-in-law, Sue Randle of Hutsonville; grandchildren, Dawn (Albert) Holman of Bowling Green, Ohio, Justin (Shannan) Connelly and Jarrett Connelly, both of Findlay, Jesse (Samantha) Beckemeyer and Cody Beckemeyer (Spring Jones), both of LaPlace, Rachelle (Tom) Christian of Marshall, Roxie Randle of Nashville, Tenn., Drew Randle of Champaign, Eliott Randle and Sammuel Randle, both of St. Cloud; ten great-grandchildren; two nieces, Carol Mann and Gloria Reynolds, both of Robinson; a nephew, Ken (Beverly) Crocker of Atlanta, Ga.; and lifelong friends, Dema and Bob Rich of Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her former husbands, Howard Clements and Joseph Randle, her loving husband of 41 years; an infant son, John D. Clements; her parents; a son-in-law, Robert Parker; two step-sons, Ronnie Randle and infant son, Joseph Patrick Randle III; a brother, Lloyd Phillippe; and three sisters, Esther Crocker, Ruby Higgins and Reva York.
