Belt, John R., of Robertsville, Missouri, was born August 27, 1939, in Valley Park, Missouri, to Courtney W. and Etta Mae (Evans) Belt, and entered into rest, Saturday, July 6, 2013, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 9 days.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one (1) sister, Bonnie Belt, one (1) brother-in-law, Jim Foree.

He is survived by his wife, Janet (nee Pitt) Belt, married November 11, 1965, in Affton, Missouri, a daughter and son-in-law of Holts Summit, Missouri, four (4) grandchildren, two (2) great grandchildren, four (4) siblings, Mae Foree, Ralph (Teri) Belt, Betty (Bob) Menchaca, Larry (Shirley) Belt, and many other relatives and friends.

John enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, reading, cooking and bar-b-queuing. His greatest loves in life were his family and going door to door, preaching the good word. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness's in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
